Miracles DO happen...

Attention everyone:

A major miracle has occurred this morning, right in my own home.

Charlotte slept in!!

This morning, we got to sleep in until.......

are you ready for this......

8:32!!!!

If any of you know Charlotte, you will immediately realize what a huge deal this is!!

Just in case you are curious, Charlotte's previous sleeping-in record time was sometime around about 6:03 a.m.

Yep, what a miracle this morning is!!!!

 I feel just as happy and relaxed and well-rested as this adorable kitty!

Family Pictures

 We had our pictures taken this past week. We hadn't had family pictures taken since Barrett was almost 18 months old- it was time for updates!!!

 Being silly!

 Handsome little Barrett. He was so, so, so excited to wear the same outfit as Colby. He is such a cute little man!

 Sweet Charlotte. She is so pretty! She looks like an angel, and so much older than the last time we had pictures taken!

 Savannah. I can't believe how lovely she is. She looks so much like a little lady now. Somehow I still think of her as my tiny little kindergartener. Clearly, I am wrong- she is growing up too fast!

 My dear son Barrett introduced this show to us.

It is seriously one of our new favorite shows.

Barrett loves Agent P, who masquerades as a mindless household pet, Perry the Platypus.

As for me, I LOVE this character.

Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, classic inept bad guy.

He is sooooooo funny.

I love it when one of the shows the kids like ends up being funny and awesome to me too!

Sports Journal

I came across something today.

A notebook. Charlotte's notebook.

Typically, Charlotte draws things like fairies, princesses, cats, unicorns; you get the idea. Fairly common "girl" things to draw.

Very 'Charlotte.'

Now, this notebook I found does contain several typical Charlotte drawings.

In addition to a couple pages of decidedly non-typical Charlotte drawings.

There were two pages of  "anti-BYU" things.

Awesome!!

Charlotte isn't even a sports fan at all, really, but she at least knows who the best team is!

There are 'smiley faces' that have the caption "I liek Yots" under them.

(translation of the 1st grader's lingo: I like Utes.)

Then there are VERY un-smiley faces with this caption:

"I hat BYU."

So funny.

My little Utes fan, in her own creative way...
